This year we offer a unique format of intensive and participatory pre-conference workshops. The five topics selected for the workshops represent key dilemmas from the many confronting Israeli planners and planning-law experts in various parts of the country.
Our pre-conference workshops will be held on 10th and 11th February 2014.
We have five options for workshops (three simultaneous workshops on Monday and two on Tuesday). Workshops include travel and will depart from Haifa hotels and return there.
The three workshops taking place on the Monday will also have optional pick-up from Tel Aviv, for those participants who may wish to spend time in Tel Aviv before the conference, directly after arrival at the national airport close to that city.
All workshops will include excursions, meetings with professionals, policymakers and local stakeholders. Each workshop is day long, and on each of the two days, alternative workshops are offered (two on the Monday and three on the Tuesday). The five regions are all within Israel and not in the West Bank or Gaza; nor near border areas.
Refreshments and lunch will be hosted. Participation fee of $40 is to cover bus costs only.
In order to assure co-discussion, the number of places in each workshop is limited to 20. Please pre-register in the form below (this page) according to your choice – only one workshop per day. NOTE: If a workshop which you choose is full, you will be prompted to add a second choice for the relevant day. You may still receive your first choice pending payment by registered participants by January 10 2014.
